“From WEC to AEECI”: Reverend TANOH Kouamé Jean-Claude Preserves and Passes On the History and Legacy of AEECI

In his 204-page book From WEC to AEECI, AEECI National President Reverend TANOH Kouamé Jean-Claude retraces the history of the Church, honors the pioneers of the ministry, and passes on a valuable spiritual and historical legacy to present and future generations.

A book dedicated to knowing, honoring and preserving the history of AEECI

Reverend TANOH Kouamé Jean-Claude, the current National President of AEECI, is the author of From WEC to AEECI, published by Eflïwa Éditions.

Through its 204 pages, the book explores the roots of the Church and the journey from the missionary work of the Worldwide Evangelization Crusade (WEC) to the birth, organization and development of AEECI.

Preserving a legacy for future generations

More than a chronological account, From WEC to AEECI is a work of remembrance and transmission.

The author highlights the ministry of men and women who, throughout the decades, answered God's call and devoted themselves to evangelism, the establishment of Christian communities, training, translation and the building of the Church.

The book therefore gives younger generations an opportunity to better understand the foundations upon which AEECI was built and the sacrifices made by those who contributed to its growth.

In announcing the publication of the book, Pastor TANOH explained that his desire was to retrace, honor and pass on a precious legacy left by the men and women who faithfully served God and helped build what the Church has become today.

He also describes the book as a testimony, a source of inspiration and a resource for present and future generations.

A book presented on a historic day

The book became available on the occasion of the inauguration ceremony of Reverend TANOH K. Jean-Claude on Saturday, April 25, 2026.

The date itself represents an important moment in the contemporary history of AEECI. At the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Foundation in Yamoussoukro, Reverend TANOH K. Jean-Claude was officially inaugurated as the 7th National President of AEECI.

The presentation of the book in connection with his inauguration carries a strong symbolic meaning: as he took responsibility for leading the Church into a new chapter of its history, its President was also helping to preserve and transmit the memory of those who came before him.
